i'm sifr and you appear to have stumbled upon another one of my notebooks, one that i have named after Ritwik Ghatak's first film, Ajantrik. i write in this notebook sporadically, chaotically, and incoherently. Lately, i've been collecting my thoughts on the books i read here.

Everything i write is rooted in my surroundings — the nation state of India in particular, the South Asian subcontinent at large, and the third world in general — even if it isn't immediately clear.
